Below is a list of the Queensland Ministry as at 7 March 2008. This site is currently being updated. Updated contact details and ministerial responsibilities will be available soon.
The Premier selects the Ministry from the ranks of parliamentary supporters. The Ministers in turn implement Government policy in the department or departments for which they are responsible.
The "portfolio" is the name given to the responsibilities undertaken by each Minister. It includes the Minister's responsibilities and the relevant legislation as well as the department/s and statutory authorities that report to the Minister.
